A screened porch is where you end up spending your evenings once you have one. No mosquitoes, no beating sun, just the outdoors made comfortable. As a Covered Porch contractor, ALC Construction Pros builds screened and covered porches across DFW, from scratch or added onto an existing deck or patio.

Texas summers come with two things that chase people back inside: heat and bugs. A screened porch handles both. Screened porch builders in Dallas-Fort Worth help homeowners enjoy the breeze and the view with a roof overhead and screens that keep mosquitoes out. You get the breeze and the view with a roof over your head and screen keeping the mosquitoes out, which turns a space you avoided in August into the best room in the house. We build the porch as a real extension of the home, with a roof tied into the existing structure, solid framing, and screen systems that hold up. Add a ceiling fan and lighting and it works from spring through late fall.
A full screen enclosure with a roof, so you get shade, airflow, and a bug-free space in one.
An open, roofed porch for shade and rain protection when you do not need the screen.
Screen and a roof added over a new or existing deck to turn it into a three-season room.
Ceiling fans, recessed and pendant lighting, and ceiling finishes that make the porch feel like an actual room.
We can screen and cover an existing deck or covered patio, or build a porch from the ground up. If you are after a bigger outdoor room with a kitchen or fireplace, we can design that too, so the porch works as part of the whole backyard.
