Decks Built for Allen Homes and Yards

Most Allen homes are newer construction in planned communities like Twin Creeks and Watters Creek, which usually means a solid backyard and an HOA with architectural guidelines. That leaves good room for a composite deck with a cover or an outdoor kitchen, and we handle the HOA approval so the design clears the first time. The North Texas clay under Allen still moves with the seasons, so we foot every deck for it.

What We Build in Allen

Composite and wood decks

Low-maintenance Trex and TimberTech, or cedar and pressure-treated pine, designed to your home and yard.

Patio covers and pergolas

Shade that makes the space usable through a Texas summer, attached or freestanding.

Screened porches and outdoor kitchens

Three-season porches and full outdoor living spaces with kitchens and fire features.

Deck repair and restoration

Board replacement, framing repair, and refinishing to bring a tired deck back to life.

Permits and HOAs in Allen

Allen requires permits for most deck projects, and nearly every neighborhood has an HOA that reviews plans before you build. We prepare the permit package and the HOA submittal, build to city code, and design to the guidelines so the project stays on track.

Allen Deck FAQs

Do you build decks throughout Allen?

Yes, across Allen and the surrounding communities, including Twin Creeks and Watters Creek. If you are just outside the city limits, call and we will confirm we cover you.

Will you handle my Allen HOA approval?

Yes. Most Allen neighborhoods require HOA architectural approval before a deck. We prepare the drawings and submittal the HOA needs and design to their guidelines so it clears.

Do I need a permit for a deck in Allen?

In most cases, yes, especially for attached, raised, or covered decks. We pull the permit and build to Allen code so it passes inspection.

What deck material is best for Allen weather?

Composite decking is a low-maintenance option for Allen’s heat and seasonal weather changes. Cedar and pressure-treated wood can also work well when they are properly sealed and maintained. The best choice depends on your budget, preferred appearance, and how much ongoing upkeep you want.

Can you add a patio cover to my existing deck?

Often, yes. We first inspect the deck structure, footings, and framing to confirm the existing deck can support the planned patio cover. If upgrades are needed, we will include them in the written estimate.

How long does it take to build a deck in Allen?

The timeline depends on the deck size, materials, permit and HOA requirements, weather, and any custom details such as railings, stairs, lighting, or a patio cover. We provide a clear project schedule with the written estimate.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a very good choice when I chose this company to do a great job in terms of design. Mrs. Zala did a wonderful design and the choice of the type of tiles, sinks and bathroom seat was more than excellent. The implementation was fast and perfect and they checked every little and big thing. Other than that, the cost price was very excellent. I advise everyone to deal with them as they are friendly and their choice of workers is safe and experienced👍👍👍👍👍👍
