Decks Built for Dallas Homes and Yards

Dallas has just about every kind of house. The tucked-away lots in the M Streets and Kessler Park often call for compact, multi-level decks that make the most of a smaller yard. The bigger properties in Preston Hollow and North Dallas leave room for full outdoor living spaces with a deck, a cover, and a kitchen. The other constant is the clay soil, which expands and contracts with our wet-dry swings and will heave a deck that was not footed properly. Experienced deck contractors Dallas homeowners rely on design foundations for local soil conditions, so your deck stays solid and level for the long haul.

What We Build in Dallas

Composite and wood decks

Low-maintenance Trex and TimberTech, or cedar and pressure-treated pine, designed to your home and yard.

Dallas Deck FAQs

Do you build decks throughout Dallas?

Yes, across the city and the surrounding area, including Lakewood, Oak Cliff, Preston Hollow, North Dallas, Uptown, and the M Streets. If you are just outside the city limits, call and we will confirm we cover you.

Do I need a permit to build a deck in Dallas?

In most cases, yes. The City of Dallas requires permits for attached decks and raised structures, and often for covers. We pull the permits and build to code so it passes inspection and does not create issues at resale.

How does Dallas clay soil affect my deck?

Our clay expands when wet and shrinks when dry, which can heave footings that were not set deep enough. We design the foundation for local soil conditions so the deck stays level and solid over the years.

What deck material is best for Dallas weather?

Composite decking offers low maintenance and does not require regular staining or sealing, while cedar and pressure-treated wood can be good options when properly maintained. The best choice depends on your budget, appearance preferences, and upkeep expectations.

How long does it take to build a deck in Dallas?

The timeline depends on the deck size, height, materials, permit requirements, and weather. After reviewing the project, we provide a written scope and a realistic schedule before work begins.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a very good choice when I chose this company to do a great job in terms of design. Mrs. Zala did a wonderful design and the choice of the type of tiles, sinks and bathroom seat was more than excellent. The implementation was fast and perfect and they checked every little and big thing. Other than that, the cost price was very excellent. I advise everyone to deal with them as they are friendly and their choice of workers is safe and experienced👍👍👍👍👍👍
