Decks Built for Arlington Homes and Yards

Arlington sits in the middle of the metroplex and has just about every kind of home, from the mature lots in the older north Arlington neighborhoods to the newer builds on the south side. Some yards call for a compact multi-level deck, others have room for a full outdoor living space with a cover and a kitchen. The clay soil is the constant, swelling and shrinking with the wet-dry cycle, and it will heave a deck that was not footed for it. We build the foundation for our ground so your deck stays level.

What We Build in Arlington

Composite and wood decks

Low-maintenance Trex and TimberTech, or cedar and pressure-treated pine, designed to your home and yard.

Patio covers and pergolas

Shade that makes the space usable through a Texas summer, attached or freestanding.

Screened porches and outdoor kitchens

Three-season porches and full outdoor living spaces with kitchens and fire features.

Deck repair and restoration

Board replacement, framing repair, and refinishing to bring a tired deck back to life.

Permits and HOAs in Arlington

Most deck projects in Arlington require a permit and inspection, especially attached and raised decks and anything covered. We handle the permit process and build to Arlington code so the work passes cleanly, and we can work with your HOA’s approval where one applies.

Arlington Deck FAQs

Do you build decks throughout Arlington?

Yes, across the city and the surrounding area, from north Arlington to the south side and the neighborhoods near the entertainment district. If you are just outside the city, call and we will confirm we cover you.

Do I need a permit to build a deck in Arlington?

In most cases, yes. Arlington requires permits for attached decks, raised structures, and covers. We pull the permits and build to code so it passes inspection.

How does the clay soil affect my deck?

Our North Texas clay expands when wet and shrinks when dry, which can heave footings set too shallow. We design the foundation for local soil so the deck stays level over the years.

What deck material works best for Arlington weather?

Composite decking is a low-maintenance option for Arlington’s heat and seasonal weather changes. Cedar and pressure-treated wood can also work well when they are properly sealed and maintained. The best choice depends on your budget, preferred appearance, and expected upkeep.

Can you add a patio cover to an existing deck?

Often, yes. We first review the deck structure, footings, and framing to confirm the existing deck can support the planned patio cover. If upgrades are needed, they can be included in the written estimate.

How long does it take to build a deck in Arlington?

The timeline depends on the deck size, materials, permit requirements, weather, and any custom details such as stairs, railings, lighting, or a patio cover. A written estimate provides a realistic project schedule.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a very good choice when I chose this company to do a great job in terms of design. Mrs. Zala did a wonderful design and the choice of the type of tiles, sinks and bathroom seat was more than excellent. The implementation was fast and perfect and they checked every little and big thing. Other than that, the cost price was very excellent. I advise everyone to deal with them as they are friendly and their choice of workers is safe and experienced👍👍👍👍👍👍
