Composite Deck Builder in Dallas-Fort Worth

If you want a deck you can enjoy instead of maintain, composite is usually the answer. ALC Construction Pros builds composite decks across DFW using boards from Trex and TimberTech, the two brands we trust to survive a Texas summer without fading or warping. No sanding, no staining, no yearly sealing.

Why Homeowners Here Go Composite

The pitch for composite is simple. You spend more to build it and almost nothing to keep it. In North Texas that trade tends to work out, because our sun is brutal on wood and most people would rather not spend a Saturday every spring sanding and sealing a deck. Good composite board is a wood-plastic blend with a hard outer shell that resists fading, stains, scratches, and moisture. It stays cooler than cheap composite, does not splinter, and cleans up with soap and water. Most quality lines carry fade and stain warranties of 25 years or more.

Trex and TimberTech, Built to Last in Texas

Trex is the name most people know, made largely from recycled material with a wide range of colors and strong fade and stain coverage. TimberTech is known for capped polymer boards that look closest to real wood and stay cooler underfoot, which matters when you are barefoot on a July afternoon. We help you pick the line and color that balance the look you want with heat and budget.

What a Composite Deck From Us Includes

Full decking and fascia

We deck the surface and wrap the exposed framing so the whole thing reads as finished, not just the top.

Matching or contrasting railing

Composite, aluminum, or cable railing depending on the look you want and your view.

Hidden fasteners

A clean surface with no screw heads staring back at you, one of the quiet reasons composite decks look so tidy.

Built-in options

Lighting, benches, planters, and skirting. Small touches that make the deck feel designed rather than assembled.

Composite Deck FAQs

How long does a composite deck last?

A quality composite deck on a solid frame commonly lasts 25 to 30 years or more, and most premium boards carry a 25-year-plus fade and stain warranty. The frame underneath matters as much as the boards, which is why we build with proper footings and treated framing.

Does composite decking get hot in Texas sun?

It gets warm like any decking in full sun, but lighter colors and capped polymer boards such as TimberTech stay noticeably cooler than dark or cheap composite. We help you pick a color that balances looks with heat, and shade from a cover or pergola makes a big difference.

Is composite worth the extra cost over wood?

If you plan to keep the home, usually yes. You pay more to build but skip yearly staining, sealing, and board replacement. Over ten years the maintenance savings often close the gap, and you get a deck that still looks new.

Can you replace my old wood deck boards with composite?

Often yes, if the existing frame is still sound. We inspect the footings and framing first. If the structure is solid we can re-deck it in composite; if it is failing, a rebuild is the safer investment.

What composite brands do you install?

Mainly Trex and TimberTech, because they hold up in our climate and stand behind their warranties. If you have a specific brand or color in mind, bring it to the estimate and we will talk it through.

How to build a deck with composite decking?

Building a deck with composite decking starts with a properly planned layout, stable footings, and a level treated-wood frame that follows local code requirements. Composite boards are then installed with the manufacturer’s recommended spacing and hidden fasteners so the surface can expand, drain, and stay neat. Railings, stairs, fascia, and lighting are added after the main deck surface is secure. Because framing and drainage affect long-term performance, professional planning is important for a durable result.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a very good choice when I chose this company to do a great job in terms of design. Mrs. Zala did a wonderful design and the choice of the type of tiles, sinks and bathroom seat was more than excellent. The implementation was fast and perfect and they checked every little and big thing. Other than that, the cost price was very excellent. I advise everyone to deal with them as they are friendly and their choice of workers is safe and experienced👍👍👍👍👍👍
